INSURANCE POLICY

Third-party insurance

Third-party insurance provides third-party liability protection with limited coverage for bodily injury and property damage.
It will be considered null and void if the driver responsible for the damage is not the one authorized to drive, or if the driver is no longer in possession of his or her driving license at the time of the incident, in the event of transport of dangerous materials or failure to comply with the Highway Code.

 

Insurance 90 €

Taking out insurance when you pick up your vehicle can reduce your liability to a certain deductible in the event of damage to the vehicle caused by an identified third party.

If the customer takes out insurance, his liability will be limited to the following deductible:
700.00€ for category Eco vehicles 700.00€ for category Confort vehicles 1000€ for SUV vehicles 1200€ for family and van vehicles (7 to 12 seats)

If the customer refuses to take out comprehensive insurance when picking up the vehicle, he will be liable for all damage to the rental car up to the full value of the vehicle.

 

Premium Insurance €150

If this insurance is taken out when the vehicle is collected, the excess is reduced to the following amounts:
EUR 400.00 for category A vehicles EUR 500.00 for category B vehicles EUR 550.00 for SUV vehicles EUR 600.00 for family and van vehicles (7 to 12 seats).

If the customer refuses to take out comprehensive insurance with a reduced deductible when picking up the vehicle, he/she will be liable for all damage to the rental vehicle up to the full value of the vehicle.

 

Additional Charges

Out-of-branch vehicle delivery surcharge :

For rentals at an airport or train station, a location surcharge will be billed (see agency conditions).
For all rentals (outside the agency), a supplement will be charged (see agency conditions).

Vehicle pick-up outside opening hours :

If the vehicle is picked up and/or returned outside opening hours, we charge a fee for “pick-up outside agency hours”.

Returning the vehicle to the airport parking lot :

If you return the vehicle to the airport parking lot when it was agreed to return it at the agency, you will be charged the €25 parking fee.

Vehicle pick-up outside opening hours :

If the vehicle is collected and/or returned outside opening hours, we charge a fee for “collection outside agency hours”.

Returning the vehicle to the airport parking lot :

If you return the vehicle to the airport parking lot when it was agreed to return it at the agency, you will be charged the €25 parking fee.

Returning the vehicle after the agreed time :

The return time is the same as the pick-up time. If the customer does not respect the agreed time, they will be charged an additional day’s rental

at the rate shown on the invoice. If the rental straddles the high and low seasons, the seasonal rate will be charged.

 

Administrative processing fees

An administrative processing fee of €50 will be charged for each violation.
An administrative processing fee of €60 will be charged per claim.

Included:

– Scratches – Missing rim – Broken glass

– Flat tire – Natural disaster

– Breakdown service for key locked in vehicle

– Spray graffiti

– Any missing or broken “CHECK IN” item

– Change of vehicle of same category after accident

Excluded:

– All damage caused in violation of

Highway Code

– Engine damage (head gasket, radiator, etc.)

– Underbody impact – Bodywork impact – Misfuelling

– Theft of objects from the vehicle – Torn tires – Wrongful accident

– Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
